Épisode 21h00 – 22h00 S01E22 - 24 Saison 1

Le véhicule qui transportait Kim est attaqué par un commando qui la ligote, la bâillonne et l’enlève. Pendant ce temps-là, David Palmer accompagné de sa femme se présente à son QG de campagne pour célébrer sa victoire.

Jack Bauer prisonnier de Victor Drazen appelle Nina à la CAT pour lui demander de lui fournir la preuve qu’Alexis est toujours en vie. Victor Drazen parle à son fils sur son lit d’hôpital et accepte d’échanger la vie de Jack Bauer contre celle de son fils.

Mason lui répond qu’il n’a pas la qualification pour accepter cet échange. Sherry profitant du discours de David se rapproche de Patty et lui demande de «s’occuper» de David, elle ne veut pas qu’il se sente seul car elle doit s’absenter le lendemain.

Mason prévient Nina que la CAT refuse le marché car ce serait admettre que l’on détenait Victor Drazen et qu’on l’a laissé s’échapper, et pour des raisons politiques, ce n’est pas envisageable. Nina tente de défendre la cause de Jack, mais Mason lui répond que les ordres sont les ordres et qu’il n’y peut rien.

Nina va retrouver Terri qui s’inquiète de ne pas voir arriver Kim, puis elle la met au courant de la situation pour Jack.

Victor Drazen et ses hommes arrivent dans la maison d’un complice où ils sont accueillis par un vieil ami de celui-ci qui les invite à manger.

A la cellule, Terri va trouver Mason pour lui demander d’intervenir, mais ce dernier campe sur ses positions et confirme qu’il ne peut rien faire. Paniquée, Terri supplie Nina qui lui répond qu’elle va tenter quelque chose mais qu’elle ne peut en dire plus, puis en s’éloignant elle appelle le sénateur Palmer et lui révèle tous les faits.

Tony apprend alors que Kim a été enlevée et en informe Nina. 9 heures 26 Mason reçoit un appel du sénateur Palmer qui lui demande de reconsidérer sa position relative à l’échange Bauer-Drazen et de prendre les décisions nécessaires en l’assurant de son soutien après son élection. Pendant ce temps-là, Jack profitant d’un moment d’inattention, prend en otage la fille du maître de maison, mais Victor Drazen la tue de sang froid et Jack est à nouveau maîtrisé; Victor Drazen appelle Mason à la cellule pour régler l’échange qui doit avoir lieu dans un garage dont il donne l’adresse.

Le sénateur Palmer demande à Patty de lui montrer ses notes en vue des réponses à fournir à la presse et lui demande de le retrouver dans son bureau. Victor Drazen abat froidement « son ami » le père de l’otage qui le traitait d’assassin. Et toute l’équipe repart avec Jack et Kim qui vient de débarquer avec ses ravisseurs.

Nina révèle à Terri que l’échange a été accepté, et Terri, soulagée, demande à parler à Kim. Nina embarrassée lui répond qu’elle va s’en occuper. Terri, très émue, la remercie pour son aide et son soutien. Nina retourne auprès de Tony et lui avoue qu’elle n’a pas pu parler à Terri de l’enlèvement de Kim.

Dans le véhicule qui les emmène, Jack demande instamment qu’on relâche Kim, en vain. On retrouve David Palmer avec Patty, dans son bureau où ils étudient les réponses à faire concernant l’affaire de Keith. La conversation prend un tour plus intime, David offre à Patty une coupe de champagne et cette dernière lui montre qu’elle n’est pas insensible et que s’il voulait ...

Les Drazen enchaînent Jack sur un terrain vague, au milieu d’un chantier, et l’abandonne en lui disant qu’il aura la vie sauve s’ils récupèrent Alexis, mais qu’il sera abattu dans le cas contraire, puis ils repartent.

David Palmer retourne auprès de ses invités, pendant que Sherry va retrouver Patty et lui pose des questions sur son entrevue avec son mari. Patty révèle ses scrupules à manipuler David mais Sherry lui assure que c’est pour son « bien ».

Mason qui est allé chercher Alexis à l’hôpital arrive en ambulance devant le lieu de rendez-vous. Ils sont accueillis par les hommes de Drazen à l’intérieur du garage. Malgré l’intervention de Mason qui exige de récupérer Jack immédiatement, ils repartent avec Alexis en rappelant qu’ils détiennent aussi Kim.

En chemin, ils s’arrêtent pour chercher le mouchard qu’a installé la cellule et l’abandonne sur la route. Sur le chantier, un coup de feu retentit et libère Jack des menottes qui le retenaient prisonnier; le téléphone sonne et on lui ordonne de monter dans un véhicule et de rejoindre une adresse s’il veut récupérer sa fille vivante.

JACK BAUER: {Voice over} Right now, Terrorists are plotting to assassinate a presidential candidate. My wife and daughter have been targted. and the people I work with may be invovled in both. I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer, and today is the longest day of my life.


JACK BAUER: {Voice over} The following takes place between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the day of the California Presidential Primary.

{THE TERRORISTS WEARING ALL BLACK AND BLACK SKI MASKS ARE DRAGING KIM INTO THE VAN. THESE MEN ARE SPEAKING SERBIAN. THEY TIE HER UP AND TAPE HER MOUTH SHUT. WE SEE A ARIAL VIEW OF THE VAN SPEEDING DOWN A DOWNTOWN STREET AT 9:00 AT NIGHT.}



INT. PALMER HOTEL, BALL ROOM


{A MAN ON A LOUDSPEAKER INDRODUCES DAVID}

ANNOUNCER: And now ladies and gentelmen I'm proud to present the future President of the United States. Senator David Palmer.

{PALMER AND SHERRY ENTER THE ROOM. PEOPLE CLAP AND CHEER. PALMER TAKES THE FLOOR}

SENATOR PALMER: Yeah, We did it. You know this is our victory. and when we started out, they said the country wasn't ready. They said it couldn't be done. That it would never happen. But here we are. Still standing tall. And when we look back at this amazing time, We can all say that we were apart of history. We can all say that we did our part to make this world a better place. And God willing, our children and our children's children will reep the benefits of the seeds we sow right now.



INT. DRAZEN'S VAN

{THE DRAZEN'S MAKE JACK CALL C.T.U.}

NINA MEYERS: c.t.u. Meyers.

JACK BAUER: Nina, It's me.

NINA MEYERS: Jack, where are you?

JACK BAUER: I'm with Andre and Victor Drazen.

NINA MEYERS: What do you mean? Where?

JACK BAUER: Nina just listen to me. I'm being held hostage. The reason why I'm calling is Victor Drazen wants conformation that his son Alexis is alive.

NINA MEYERS: Well he's in the hospital. I can try to get through to his room.

JACK BAUER: Okay, do it.

NINA MEYERS: Okay, hold on.........Tony, get me the hosptial. I need Alexis Drazen on line.
C.T.U.

GEORGE MASON: Just spoke to the backup team. Drazen escaped. I want a net over that entire area. I want 1 mile, 3 mile, and 5 mile mobile barriers.

NINA MEYERS: George we know. We got Jack on the line. He's with Victor Drazen now.

GEORGE MASON: What?

TONY ALMEIDA: Nina, I got Alexis Drazen.

NINA MEYERS: Transfer it.


{SPLIT SCREEN OF ALEXIS DRAZEN AND VICTOR DRAZEN}

{ALEXIS IS LAYING IN THE HOSPTIAL BED BREATHING HEAVY TRYING TO STAY ALIVE}

ALEXIS DRAZEN: Who is this?

JACK BAUER: Hold on. {HANDS PHONE TO VICTOR}

VICTOR DRAZEN: Alexie?

ALEXIS DRAZEN: Father? Where are you? Did you get out?

VICTOR DRAZEN: Alexie, what happened? What have they done to you?

ALEXIS DRAZEN: You...............You always said I would get in trouble with women. {HEAVY BREATHING} You were right. Forgive me father. I failed you.

VICTOR DRAZEN: You have not failed. You are alive, I am free.

ALEXIS DRAZEN: Free!!

VICTOR DRAZEN: Hold on, Alexie. We will be together soon.

ALEXIS DRAZEN: No.....Papa, you go without me. I'm not going to make it.

VICTOR DRAZEN: You will make it!!! Be strong, tell me you can do this.

ALEXIS DRAZEN: Papa.....

VICTOR DRAZEN: Now I have something to say to the rest of you........I am willing to trade the life of Jack Bauer for my son.

GEORGE MASON: Mr.Drazen, It's George Mason. I'm the acting head of C.T.U. I don't have the authority to make that trade.

VICTOR DRAZEN: If you do not have the authority then you are not the head of anything. Talk to your superiors. We will call back in 15 minutes. Be ready to respond without quailification. {HANGS UP} {ANDRE THROWS THE BLACK SHEET BACK OVER JACK'S HEAD}




INT. PALMER HOTEL, BALL ROOM


SENATOR PALMER: And let me remind you that when I was 10 points behind in the polls, I told you I had a plan. That on this day we were going to celebrate, party nomination in hand........Promise delivered.

{APPLAUDING AND CHEERING}

{SHERRY WALKS DOWN FROM THE STAGE AND OVER TO PATTY}

PATTY BROOKS: Hi.

SHERRY PALMER: I'm not going to be able to go to Dallas with David tomorrow.

PATTY BROOKS: Why not?

SHERRY PALMER: I committed to a national Youth Service day event here in L.A.

PATTY BROOKS: That's okay. I can reschedule.

SHERRY PALMER: No, Patty I don't want you to reschedule. David and I could use a couple of days apart. I don't want him to feel alone okay?

PATTY BROOKS: Whatever you want.


SENATOR PALMER: Doing the right thing is the only thing to do.

INT. C.T.U. MASON'S OFFICE

{NINA ENTERS}

NINA MEYERS: Talked to Chappelle?

GEORGE MASON: I did. No trade.

NINA MEYERS: What?

GEORGE MASON: This whole Victor Drazen thing is a big embarrassment for them. If they do a trade, it's an admission he's alive. That the D.O.D. has been keeping here in secret. On top of that they let him escape.

NINA MEYERS: So they're just going to sacrifice Jack?

GEORGE MASON: He's like all the rest of us Nina......Expendable.

NINA MEYERS: Is that what you think?

GEORGE MASON: Doesn't matter what I think. I don't think he walks on water the way you do but I don't want to see him hung out to dry. Nina, I tried.

NINA MEYERS: George, Without the trade, how are they going to locate Drazen?

GEORGE MASON: My guess is they won't even try. They'll let him get out of the country and pick him up in Europe.

NINA MEYERS: If we do the trade, then we'll know where he is.

GEORGE MASON: Hey your preaching to the choir. That's what I said to Chappelle. They don't want to draw attention to the situation. End of story.

NINA MEYERS: So that's it. We just go back to work and let Jack die.

GEORGE MASON: What can I say.

NINA MEYERS: Nothing.

{NINA EXITS}

INT. C.T.U. CONFERENCE ROOM

TERI BAUER: Nina, shouldn't Kim be here by now?

NINA MEYERS: They just left the police station. They should be here soon.

TERI BAUER: I never did hear what happened to her.

NINA MEYERS: She was arrested by mistake. Listen, Teri, Kim's fine. That's not the problem.

TERI BAUER: What do you mean? What's going on?

NINA MEYERS: It's been confirmed. Jack's been captured. He's being held hostage. We're doing everything we can to bring him back, but

TERI BAUER: Wait...........What do they want?

NINA MEYERS: It's hard to say.

TERI BAUER: Well tell me what you know.

NINA MEYERS: This guy Drazen wants to trade Jack for his son Alexis, who we have.

TERI BAUER: Then he'll be okay right?

NINA MEYERS: No..............The Government won't make the trade.

TERI BAUER What do you mean they won't make the trade? How are they going to get back Jack?

NINA MEYERS: {PAUSES} There not.........Jack's on his own.

{THE DRAZEN'S AND JACK GO DOWN SOME STAIRS LEADING INTO A ROOM WHERE A MEAL IS BEING PREPARED FOR VICTOR. ANDRE IS ON HIS CELL}

ANDRE DRAZEN: There can be no more flaws and it has to be done soon. I don't care how much it costs or how many men you need. We're out of here by midnight. {HANGS UP} Put him there.

{THEY SIT JACK DOWN IN A CHAIR.}

VICTOR DRAZEN: Nikola. My good good friend.

NIKOLA: I never thought I would see you again.

{THEY HUG}

VICTOR DRAZEN: How is your family?

NIKOLA: They are eager to see you.

VICTOR DRAZEN: Soon....Is everything prepared?

NIKOLA: Yes, please sit down......Victor I would like you to meet my daughter, Mila.

MILA: Hello.

VICTOR DRAZEN: How beautiful.

MILA: Thank you.

VICTOR DRAZEN: Just like your mother.

NIKOLA: But she got my temper.

VICTOR DRAZEN: No good, that is no good. {POURS A GLASS OF VODKA}

MILA: There is some fresh cloths for you when you are ready.

VICTOR DRAZEN: Would you like something to eat Jack?

JACK BAUER: NO.

 

INT. C.T.U. MASON'S OFFICE

{GEORGE ON PHONE}

GEORGE MASON: It doesn't make any sense. How does letting a senior C.T.U. agent die help keep Victor Drazen out of the news?

{TERI STORMS IN}

GEORGE MASON: Teri, I'm busy can Nina help you?

TERI BAUER: No I'm talking to you right now.

GEORGE MASON: I'll call you back. {HANGS UP}

TERI BAUER: You are not going to let my husband die.

GEORGE MASON: No one is going to let Jack die. We just can't go through with the trade right now.

TERI BAUER: There's no difference. Without your help, he doesn't have a chance.

GEORGE MASON: With a ordinary agent I'd agree with you. Jack has a special forces background. I've seen him do the impossible.

TERI BAUER: Stop patronizing me Mr.Mason you'll been doing it all night. Just tell me what you are prepared to do to get my husband back.

GEORGE MASON: Fine, I'll stop patronizing you. I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I'm going to call up Division and ask them to reconsider one more time. There going to say no. That will be the end of it. Anything else?

{TERI LEAVES}

TERI BAUER: Nina, I'm asking you, as someone who cares about Jack, we cannot just stand by and watch him die.

NINA MEYERS: I know. I agree. I'm already doing something about it.

TERI BAUER: What?

NINA MEYERS: I think there is someone who can help Jack. It's not procedure so I can't talk about it. Your just going to have to trust me.




INT. HOTEL BALL ROOM

WOMAN: Excuse me Senator. Nina Meyers at C.T.U. is on the phone for you.

SENATOR PALMER: Excuse me.....Hello.

NINA MEYERS: Senator thank you for taking my call.

SENATOR PALMER: What can I do for you ms.Meyers?

NINA MEYERS: Jack's in trouble. He needs your help.

SENATOR PALMER: What kind of trouble?

NINA MEYERS: There's no time to tell you everything. Let me just give you the headlines. Victor Drazen is alive.

SENATOR PALMER: Woa, woa, woa what do you mean he's alive?

NINA MEYERS: That's all we know. The U.S. Government held him prisioner until about an hour ago.

SENATOR PALMER: Okay........What happened an hour ago?

NINA MEYERS: He escaped. He's taken Jack hostage. He's willing to trade Jack for his son Alexis.

SENATOR PALMER: What's D.O.D.'s response?

NINA MEYERS: They are refusing to get invovled.

SENATOR PALMER: Who knows you contacted me?

NINA MEYERS: No one.

SENATOR PALMER: Who's actually talking to Drazen?

NINA MEYERS: George Mason.

SENATOR PALMER: Tell me about him.

NINA MEYERS: Well normally he's by the book, but he's very ambitious and political.

SENATOR PALMER: Okay, I'm going to make a few calls first. Where can I reach Mason?

NINA MEYER: Here at C.T.U. he's in Jack's office.

SENATOR PALMER: All right.

NINA MEYERS: Thank you Senator.

C.T.U. AGENT: {ON PHONE} Are you sure?......Okay thanks........Tony.

TONY ALMEIDA: What's up?

AGENT: Kim's car was hit. Two cops are down. Kim was taken.

TONY ALMEIDA: What?

AGENT: Yeah.

TONY ALMEIDA: Was there any communication?

AGENT: There working it up.

TONY ALMEIDA: Let me know what you find all right?

{TONY STANDS UP AND PUTS HIS HAND OVER HIS FACE, TIRED}

NINA MEYERS: Tony I'm going to need to talk to you in a few minutes............Did you hear me?....Tony?

TONY ALMEIDA: What?

NINA MEYERS: You all right?

TONY ALMEIDA: No. We have a problem.

TERI BAUER: Hey, any word on Kim?

NINA MEYERS: Teri, I'm sorry do you mind waiting in the conference room?

TERI BAUER: Sure.

NINA MEYERS: Thanks............What's up?

TONY ALMEIDA: They grabbed Kim again.

NINA MEYERS: What?

TONY ALMEIDA: It must have been Drazen. The patrol car Kim was riding in was hit.

NINA MEYERS: I don't believe this.

TONY ALMEIDA: You going to tell her?

{SENATOR PALMER CALL'S GEORGE MASON}


GEORGE MASON: {ANSWERS RINGING PHONE} Mason.

OPERATOR: Sir I have Senator Palmer on the line for you.

GEORGE MASON: Ah, Yeah, put him through.

SENATOR PALMER: Hello.

GEORGE MASON: Senator Palmer, This is George Mason. It's an honor to speak to you sir.

SENATOR PALMER: I want you to reverse your orders on the Bauer for Drazen trade.

GEORGE MASON: Ah I'm not sure how much information you have about this but this is Agency business. With all due respect, it doesn't fall under the Senate Purveiw.

SENATOR PALMER: As you well know, your entire Agency falls under the Presidential purveiw. In nine months I will be in that office.

GEORGE MASON: I'm not sure if that's meant to tempt or threaten me. It doesn't matter either way. I don't have the authority to pull the trigger on this one.

SENATOR PALMER: From what I'm told Mr.Mason. That authority is something you'd like to have.

GEORGE MASON: What's that supposed to mean?

SENATOR PALMER: Act on your own prerogative, go through with the trade. You'll be reprimanded, possibly even demoted.

GEORGE MASON: So far sounds great.

SENATOR PALMER: Within the first month of my term, I will instate you in a high level position in Washington. You'll by pass five years of middle management.

GEORGE MASON: And If you don't get elected?

SENATOR PALMER: That's not going to happen. Think about it George. {HANGS UP}

INT. THE DRAZEN SAFE HOUSE

{JACK IS STILL ALL BANGED UP BAD AS HE SIT'S THERE WATCHING THE DRAZEN'S PLAN THERE ESCAPE}

ANDRE DRAZEN: Father. Transportation has been arranged.

VICTOR DRAZEN: There were problems with last minuet changes?

ANDRE DRAZEN: It's going to cost more.

VICTOR DRAZEN: How much?

ANDRE DRAZEN: Two hundred thousand.


{MILA ENTERS AND WALKS OVER TO VICTOR}

MILA: Do you need anything else?

VICTOR DRAZEN: No, Everything is perfect.

MILA: My father told me to take good care of you.

VICTOR DRAZEN: The service was impeccable. Compliments to the chef.

{MILA BACKS UP}

MILA: Thank you. It was my mothers recipe.


{JACK STANDS UP, PUNCHES A GUARD IN THE STOMACH THEN CRACKS HIM WITH HIS KNEE. JACK TAKES THE GUARDS KNIFE, GRABS MILA AND PUTS THE KNIFE TO HER THROAT. VICTOR AND SOME GUARDS POINT THERE GUNS AT JACK}

JACK BAUER: DROP THE WEAPONS!!!! DROP THE WEAPONS!!!!!!!!! PUT YOUR WEAPONS DOWN!!!! I'LL CUT HER THROAT.

VICTOR DRAZEN: Put them down.

{ALL GUARDS DROP THERE WEAPONS}

JACK BAUER: You to Victor.

VICTOR DRAZEN: Of course. {BANG. ONE SHOT TO THE HEAD KILLING MILA. JACK FALLS DOWN}

JACK BAUER: Son of a bitch............SON OF A BITCH.........HOW COULD YOU DO THIS???

VICTOR DRAZEN: One more death for you to atone for Jack.

{GUARD PUNCHES JACK IN THE SIDE}

{ANDRE RUNS IN}

ANDRE DRAZEN: What happened?

VICTOR DRAZEN: CALL C.T.U. NOW. TELL THEM I WANT YOUR BROTHER OVER HERE NOW.





INT. C.T.U. MASON'S OFFICE

{TONY IS PRESENT AS GEORGE ANSWERS A RINGING PHONE}

GEORGE MASON: Mason.

ANDRE DRAZEN: Mr.Mason what have you decided?................Mr.Mason?

GEORGE MASON: We're going to do the swap on our terms.

ANDRE DRAZEN: That's an intresting dream. The swap will take place in exactly thirty minutes from now. The address is 2127 Grand Avenue. A green SUV will be waiting. Place my brother inside the vehicle.

GEORGE MASON: What about Jack?

ANDRE DRAZEN: When my brother's in position, I'll direct you to Bauer. You have 29 minutes now. {HANGS UP}

TONY ALMEIDA: I got It. 2127 Grand Avenue. It's a repair garage.

GEORGE MASON: Get ahold of Chris Porterfield at LAPD tell him we will be taking over the streets in that area for the next two hours.

TONY ALMEIDA: Where are you going?

GEORGE MASON: Hospital to get Alexis.

TONY ALMEIDA: The guy just got stabbed in the stomach today. They won't let him out.

GEORGE MASON: There going to have to.

INT. BALL ROOM

{SENATOR MINGELS WITH STAFF MEMBERS}

SHERRY PALMER: David? Where have you been?

SENATOR PALMER: I had to make some phone calls.

SHERRY PALMER: Phone calls. Everyone is here to see you David. You need to make an impression. Not phone calls.

SENATOR PALMER: I know what I have to do Sherry.

SHERRY PALMER: Do you really?

SENATOR PALMER: Don't talk down to me Sherry I don't like it.


{PATTY PASSES BY}

SENATOR PALMER: Don't you look pretty this evening.

PATTY BROOKS: You have seen this dress before.

SENATOR PALMER: It's not just the dress.

PATTY BROOKS: Thank you.

SENATOR PALMER: Patty I've been thinking. Since this thing with Keith is out in the open, It's going to shift the focus on every press confrence.

PATTY BROOKS: I have already started a Q and A of all possible questions.

SENATOR PALMER: You talk to Mike about this?

PATTY BROOKS: Not yet. I need a little bit more time to prepare.

SENATOR PALMER: I would like to see whatever you have so far.

PATTY BROOKS: Sure whenever you want.

SENATOR: How about now?

PATTY BROOKS: Now?

SENATOR PALMER: Everybody seems to be having a good time. There's an open bar. Upstairs in five?

PATTY BROOKS: Sure.




INT. THE DRAZEN SAFE HOUSE

VICTOR DRAZEN: Oh my dear friend, It's not what you think. I have lost my wife and my daughter. and you, both of your brothers and now Mila. This is what our enemies have done to us. He would of killed her and not in a merciful way.

NIKOLA: How could you do this? {CRYING} Murderer. You killed my daughter. {STANDS UP SHOUTING} YOU KILLED MY DAUGHTER YOU MURDERER.

{VICTOR PULLS OUT HIS GUN AND SHOOTS NIKOLA THREE TIMES IN THE CHEST.}


{SOME MEN DRAG THE TIED UP AND GAGED KIM INTO THE ROOM}

ANDRE DRAZEN: All right we have to get out of here. We're running out of time.

JACK BAUER: {SHOUTING} KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

{A GUARD CRACKS JACK IN THE FACE}

ANDRE DRAZEN: GET HER IN THE VAN. GET THIS PLACE CLEANED OUT. {THE DRAZEN'S LEAVE. THEY DRAG THE PASSED OUT JACK WITH THEM.}

INT. C.T.U. MAIN FLOOR

NINA MEYERS: I couldn't tell her. Not after everything she has been through today.

TONY ALMEIDA: I understand...........You okay?

NINA MEYERS: I just feel like I'm not doing my job.

TONY ALMEIDA: There's nothing wrong with the way your doing your job. We are here to help people right? I don't know anybody who does that better than you.

NINA MEYERS: Thanks.

TONY ALMEIDA: Your welcome.


INT. DRAZEN'S VAN

{VICTOR IS SLEEPING IN THE PASSENGERS SEAT. ANDRE IS IN THE BACK AS JACK STARTS TALKING THROUGH THE BLACK CLOTH THAT'S OVER HIS HEAD}

ANDRE DRAZEN: {GRABS THE BACK OF JACK'S HEAD} If your people deliver my brother as promised, you'll live. If not then you'll die here. A sniper rifle is currently aiming at you. He awaits my instructions.

ANDRE DRAZEN: I'll have a doctor waiting when you arrive. go. {HANGS UP}

GEORGE MASON: So what are we doing here?

TERRORIST: Once we are sattisfied that you are not following us, then we'll give you Jack's location.

GEORGE MASON: That's unacceptable. We need to know where he is now.

{THE MEN WALK AWAY}

GEORGE MASON: {PULLS OUT GUN} HOLD IT RIGHT THERE.

TERRORIST: Are you going to shoot me?

GEORGE MASON: Maybe you should of taken a few more english lessons. A trade means we get something in return. I want Jack now or you all are coming back with me.

TERRORIST: We have Jack's daughter. You must know that by now.

GEORGE MASON: So what are you saying? We are going to get back Jack and his daughter?

TERRORIST: My english is clear. Your going to get back Jack as discussed.

TERRORIST: Not my concern.....If you keep holding me here, I can't return Alexis to his father.

{THE SUV PULLS INTO A ALLEY WAY. A TERRORIST SEARCHES FOR A TRACKER. FINDS IT AND SMASHES IT}

NINA MEYERS: Damn it. They found the tracker.

{THE SNIPER FIRES A BULLET AND BREAKS THE CHAIN OFF THE WATERING POST. THE CELL RINGS AND JACK ANSWERS IT}

JACK BAUER: YEAH.

ANDRE DRAZEN: Just south of the platform there's a parked car. If you want to see Kim alive, talk to no one, get into it and head towards Century City.

JACK BAUER: Wait! Wait! Damn it.

{JACK HOPS OVER A FENCE AND RUNS TOWARDS THE PLATFORM. HE STOPS AND WASHES HIS FACE THEN GETS INTO THE PARKED CAR AND SPEEDS OFF}
